Amr Hosny, MD, MBA, FASA

Amr Hosny, MD, MBADr. Amr Hosny, a leading pain management doctor in New York, is board certified in 3 disciplines; Interventional Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology as well as Hospice & Palliative Medicine. He currently serves as the Medical Director of New York Pain Care and New Jersey Pain Care Center. Dr. Hosny is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at New York Medical College.

Dr. Hosny, of our NYC pain management office, has lectured extensively on topics ranging from spinal cord stimulation for neuropathic pain and complex regional pain syndrome to pharmacological approaches for chronic pain.

Dr. Hosny also serves as a written examination editor for the American Board of Anesthesiology.

After completing an Anesthesiology residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University in New York City, Dr. Hosny completed an Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, in Boston, MA.

David Chu, MD, FAAPMR

David Chu, MD, CAcDr. David Chu is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is certified to provide acupuncture as an alternative pain treatment. He is also certified to perform electrodiagnostic testing.

Dr. Chu completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Chu received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA, and he is a graduate of Penn State University's prestigious 6 year accelerated medical program.

Dr. Chu is a member of a number of professional associations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the New York Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Vivek Mehta, MD, FAAPMR

Vivek Mehta, MD Dr. Vivek Mehta is a Board Certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is Fellowship-Trained in Interventional Spine Medicine at The Orthopedic Clinic Association located in Phoenix, AZ.

Dr. Mehta completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He has provided team coverage from high school to the professional level for various sports including football, basketball, hockey and baseball. He had the opportunity of being a Spine Consultant for the NBA Phoenix Suns, WNBA Phoenix Mercury and Arizona State University Football team.

Dr. Mehta is a member of professional associations including North American Spine Society and American Medical Society of Sports Medicine.

Deepali Gupta, MD, DABA, DABPM

Deepali GuptaDr. Deepali Gupta is a Board Certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiologist. She works to treat patients suffering from acute and chronic pain. Dr. Gupta specializes in the evaluation and management of complex spine-related pain stemming from disorders such as spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, disc herniation, failed back/neck surgeries, as well as joint diseases. She employs the use of a multidisciplinary approach. She has a particular interest in neuromodulation as well as minimally invasive pain interventions.

Dr. Gupta completed her medical school training at New York University School of Medicine, where she then pursued her interest in both surgery and anesthesia. After finishing her Anesthesia residency she continued on to complete her fellowship in Pain Management at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital.

Dr. Gupta belongs to the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society for Interventional Pain Physicians, the New York State Society for Interventional Pain Physicians, and the New Jersey State Society for Interventional Pain Physicians.

Rainegale Pesidas, DPT

Rainegale Pesidas, DPTRainegale Pesidas is a caring and mindful Doctor of Physical Therapy serving the community of New York, NY. Raine attended Far Eastern University, where she earned her bachelor’s in physical therapy. Patients see her for a variety of reasons, including foot pain, wrist problems, mobility therapy, massage therapy, and occupational injuries.

Kelly Dwyer, DC

Kelly Dwyer, DCDr. Kelly Dwyer is a National Board Certified Chiropractor. She received her doctorate degree in 2004 from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. Dr. Dwyer graduated from the University of Binghamton with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. In addition to her chiropractic training Dr. Dwyer completed adjunct curriculum at New York Chiropractic College and is also board certified in Physiotherapy.

Dr. Dwyer has been practicing in New York City for several years working alongside medical doctors, physiatrists, and physical therapists to provide an integrative approach to healthcare. She has over 12 years of experience treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, in addition to providing chiropractic wellness care for patients in a multidisciplinary setting.

Lanie Velasco, DPT

Lanie Velasco, DPTLanie Velasco is a Board Certified Doctor of Physical Therapy and focuses on orthopedic and post-surgical conditions. She earned her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at Utica College.

She is passionate in what she does and cares for her patients' overall well-being. She strives to continue to improve her skillset through the incorporation of various techniques ampled with her years of experience and never loses the drive to become a better practitioner.
